We are so happy to announce the crossing of our Nu Class into Alpha Alpha chapter on December 19th. They did exceptionally well and showed dedication and hard work throughout their process and Crossover! We look forward to see each of you grow and welcome you to the family! Congratulations!
Card making to bring a Smile!
The Prospective Members and Active Members collaborated to make cards for hospitalized children. Each letter was made with love and we hope to bring a smile to every child who receives one! We were able to create around 30 cards and do a small part to help the children during their treatment!
Big Brother Chapter for Michigan State
Two new chapters were established at the beginning of November 2020. Alpha Phi at Case Western Reserve University and Alpha Chi Michigan State University completed their crossover virtually to establish their founding class. Our chapter along with Alpha Iota served as the Big Brother Chapter for Michigan State University and we welcome the third Michigan chapter! We are so excited to see what opportunities we can collaborate on in the future!
Alumni Send Off!
A HUGE congratulations to the seniors who graduated this year! Our social event for October recognized each of our new alumni members and we cannot wait to see all the new ventures they take to reach their goals! This was such an emotional night and we are so glad our active members could join this event to celebrate their accomplishment and wish them good luck!
NatCon 2020!
This year’s National Convention was hosted by us! Although, it was virtual, there were some amazing panelists and discussions. Our chapter won the Chapter of the Year Award and we cannot wait to see what this new semester brings for us!
Spares & Strikes
This past week, members of Alpha Alpha set out to figure out who is the best bowler among us! We enjoyed a night of laughs, strikes, and gutter balls at Garden Bowl in Detroit! Thank you to all who came out to make this night unforgettable!

As Valentine’s Day quickly approaches, the members of our chapter our in full swing selling and distributed roses. We worked together to decorate cards to the roses, each filled with a clever pre-health pick-up line! We LOVE the support we received as we raised money for a local philanthropy!

A very warm congratulations to our newest class, the Kappas, for crossing into Alpha Alpha Chapter today, December 16th! Everyone performed exceptionally well throughout the Prospective Member Process as well as throughout Crossover. We are very proud of all of you and are very excited to welcome you into our family!
Dressed to Impress
Alpha Alpha Chapter hosted its first ever Alumni Banquet tonight! Both actives and alumni were invited to mix and mingle, providing the perfect opportunity to get to know one another and network. The actives were excited to meet those who paved the road before us. The alumni were touched to see how our family and chapter has grown. We would like to thank all who were able to take time out of their busy schedules to join us!
Recap with DCAP
On Tuesday, November 19th, Alpha Alpha Chapter had the privilege of working with Wayne State’s own, DCAP. DCAP is an organization with the goal of helping homeless men and women around the city of Detroit. Our actives participated in making care packages alongside members of DCAP to help those struggling as the winter months grow near. Altogether, 150 care packages were made and later, distributed!
