Tonight, the Actives and Prospective Members of the Kappa Class had the opportunity to work with local organization, Fleece & Thank You. Inspired by the brave children battling any variety of diseases each day, Fleece & Thank You sought to create a more comfortable space for these kids during their time in the hospital. Through donations and volunteers, they create fun, patterned and colorful blankets with the hopes of brightening these children’s hospital stays. However, Fleece & Thank You differs from other organizations that create blankets; they include a personalized video from the people who made the blanket for the recipient. Alpha Alpha Chapter would like to thank Fleece & Thank You for working with and guiding us during the blanket making process. We wish the best for the brave children who receive these blankets as well as a warm recovery!
