Delta Epsilon Mu Alpha Alpha sponsored local organization, You Are Not Alone during their Mental Health Sensitivity Seminar. YANA discussed the ways to address concerns regarding mental illnesses in one’s self as well as in others. They offered resources nationally and locally for those who may be struggling or know others struggling with mental illnesses. Additionally, YANA hosted Aya Ajrouche, a Psychiatric PA-C who discussed addressing mental illnesses. She also provided a walkthrough of finding professional sources and the process of a person’s first appointment with their provider.
